In 2004 Paul Craig Roberts suggested that the US will be a third world country in 20 years. It seems that the US is on course for this to happen if you look at the facts and statistics and don’t rely on the governments to tell us what is really happening. The US unemployment rate according to the US government is 5.2%. Using the correct measurements it is more like 23%. In Australia it is similar because the measurements used are International measurements and are used worldwide. The article is very interesting as it highlights citizens incomes now compared to the past and shows their income is dropping. They are going backwards. Read PCR’s article here.

More stupidity from our government that the average person sees on the news or reads and goes, der, well okay the government must be right. The government want to give women more super because men retire with more super than females. Wow! How can that be? The government better do some research. They have to do research?
My dad retired with all his super account. One reason I can suggest is because my mother didn’t work (didn’t have to back then). The reason could also be because it was in my father’s name you dumb fucking government. Another reason could be because women take time out to have children etc. That’s right they know that bit so we will give women super whilst they’re on maternity leave. WTF? On a side note my father has passed away so my mother got the entire super anyway. The research is just a cover because they are going to do it anyway. The story seems to suggest that women will be getting more benefits than men. With the new whinge about the pay gender gap it seems we’re going from one extreme to the other.
The PAY gender gap is to do with men getting more pay than women. What???? Men get more pay? So a 26 year old female checkout operator is on less than a 26 year old male checkout operator. But that’s illegal.
Oh I see now. The gap is actually, say, a 26 year old female checkout operator getting less than a 26 year old male builder or getting less than a 26 year old male mine worker (a 26 year old female builder or miner still get the same as their male counterparts). You see there is a law in place that will not let businesses discriminate against male or female workers doing the SAME job in an industry. Reverse this situation and one finds that female miners get more than male checkout operators. But that’s okay apparently.
So why do they say there is a gender pay gap? Same reason they want to up superannuation contributions. It creates more money in the markets and banking system for the big corporations to gamble on derivatives and futures contracts. In addition, more money in means more money for the banks to take from your account when a bailout by the banks is needed.
This from a speech by Mathias Cormann to the IMF;
“We encourage the fund (IMF) to continue to improve diversity in its workforce, which is also critical to its legitimacy and for delivering on its global mandate”.
Huh? The IMF has a global mandate? Who made them boss of the world? They also think the world is in a recovery from 2007. LOLS.

Good for who???

So Australia’s Federal government is going to legalise the growing of medicinal marijuana. It’s a very good thing that we finally can use this plant as medicine which has been used by peoples of the world for centuries. Auscann (the only Australian company to date) are one of the company’s who will benefit from this new legislation. Other company’s such as mining companies that aren’t doing so good can use their share holder register and capital to assist these company’s into the Australian stock exchange to get a head start into the industry. A failed exploring company  Capital mining has done this. Auscann have hit the ground running by having a business already to go. Auscann directors, Mal Washer and Elaine Darby worked together in Australia’s Federal parliament when Dr Washer was an MP.

According to the ABC, in July of 2014  Dr. Washer (former Liberal party member) agreed with his former party’s opposition (labour party) on the push to legalise the use of medicinal marijuana. He is chairman of the newly formed Auscann.

 Norfolk Island  had a visit from Auscann who put in a proposal to grow, cultivate, export, import, and start an industry there. According to The Australian “the tricky politics of the deal are being championed by AusCann chairman Mal Washer, who championed medical pot in his time as a moderate Liberal MP”. Norfolk Island’s change of self governance has put an end to Auscann’s plans of using Norfolk Island so now they have turned to Christmas Island. Christmas Island only has an administrator and according to the SBS he is doing his bit to push hard for Auscann to be able to achieve this. Seems now that Norfolk Island will be the grow hub after all now that the Health department will be the acting regulatory body.

There is a couple of interesting points to this little story. Has Auscann gained some sort of insider knowledge to be able to set up a company just in time? Has some of the process caused a conflict of interest? Why are they the only Australian company set up? If you are a small business and would like to get into the growing market forget it.  It looks to me that the same thing will happen to medicinal marijuana that is the case with big pharmaceutical drugs. The big companies will have a monopoly on it. Also is the Australian government legalising its use for the purpose of caring for the people or for the purpose of creating business for certain people and/or companies? The other situation is if you think it will be available for recreational use then forget that too. If it is made legal for recreational use the big companies will miss out on a large amount of revenue. Oh, and then of course there is the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) that will cause problems for average Australians if it is passed.
