Australia has eased its business sanctions on Iran but will continue to enforce sanctions on military exports for 5 years and ballistic missile related materials for 8 years. Businesses will no longer need to seek approval for transactions of $20,000 or more. Anyone who has a business and would like to trade with Iran should get in before the oligarchs and cronies do. Although AUSTRAC which is Australia’s anti money laundering watchdog said these transactions should be seen as “high risk”. What a joke that is considering all the fines the too big to fail banks have had to payout over the years even when Iran was not involved.
