Here is some more on the Litvinenko polonium 210 poisoning case. According to WashingtonsBlog there is a lot more to the case than the findings of the British court. Litvinenko was poisoned in 2006. Polonium 210 could be bought online for $69 in 2006. There are also indications that Litvinenko was a nuclear materials smuggler who was an employee of an exiled Russian billionaire who had links with the Chechen Mafia. Litvinenko was said to be cut off by his employer and became desperate for money so “he hatched a blackmail scheme targeting several well-known Russian tycoons and government officials”. He also targeted the Russian mafia with his blackmail schemes.
